B-CAD and You

As an imaging and analysis tool, B-CAD has an important role to play in helping doctors read breast ultrasound images. B-CAD works from the same images that are obtained as part of a normal breast ultrasound exam — you do not need any additional procedures to have B-CAD used as part of your exam.

B-CAD is a computer software solution that assists a radiologist when looking at your ultrasound images, and uses standard medical protocols to analyze the lesion. B-CAD is also helpful in that it automatically records detailed notes that will help when comparing this year’s exam to the one you take next year.
